Default Blackvue DR900S install

First I tapped two spots in the left footwell fuse box- C3 for constant power and D2 for switched (homelink so I know it's not on time delay like the sockets). Ran a ground from the nut ahead of the fusebox and used a Posi-tap and Posi-lock so that I can easily add new circuits as needed. Biggest issue was the Power Magic Pro that seemed to not turn on despite power going to the right leads. Turned out I needed to bump the voltage to turn it on by starting the car. Front cam is mounted on a BlendMount and rear is just mounted high up on the rear glass with the lens being as centered as I can make it. Wiring tucked in fine but the rear cable is so long I had to hide it by looping it back and forth behind the weatherstripping at the b-pillar.

I just installed the DR900S with the Power Magic Pro. I wanted to be able to toggle On/Off parking mode easily as my car is mostly in my garage these days with the pandemic. So I moved the Power Magic Pro switch to the ashtray in the center console. Pretty happy with the result!

Where did you get the piece for the ashtray? Great install!

I modeled it, 3D printed it and applied a 3M matte black vinyl wrap for a nice finish.

Can you throw it up on Thingiverse? I might find that handy if I ever install my smoker's package.
