Default Dashcam Battery Pack

I just bought a Battery Pack to power my dashcam when it it parked so that my car battery does not go dead. The unit is heavier than I thought, and thus my idea of Velcro-ing it under the dash is not going to work. For those who have dashcam battery packs, where did you install it? Under the seat is an option, but I know that I will be turning the battery pack off when the car is parked in the garage, and the unit under the sear will not make that easy.

Not sure on its size. But I put my battery power magic box behind the front passenger carpet along the firewall. You can reach up and pull it down to see the bare metal below. I had a few pocket areas where the power battery magic box fit. Its hidden from view and switching it on and off would be easy enough, but a hassle since you gotta crawl back in there and grab the floor carpet to see it. Its quick and easy. But not practical.

Mine is in the luggage net on the left side of the passenger area.

Mine is behind the passenger seat on the floor. Now you have me thinking, I don't turn mine off. Never occurred to me to do that, since I always turn the cam off when I pull into the garage. I was only thinking of the charge feature which will stop after 20-30 minutes. I just went out and the blue light is on, and the car has been sitting for about 30 hours since last driven. I do drive the car frequently though. You're right it is a pain to get to.

I just checked my BlackVue B112 and it doesn't have an on/off switch.

+1 Same for my BlackVue 750S-2CH. I placed mine in the same spot, it fits snugly in place, never moved or had any issues nor used any type of additional securing.
