In the final process of deciding whether to pull the trigger on a 2018 Cab s with 6,000 miles. In looking at the vehicle over the weekend, I noticed several stone chips on the hood ( approximately 4 separate areas). One chip exposed the white undercoat. The rest of the car is in great shape. Can these stone chips be successfully repaired without repainting the hood. How much of a price reduction should I expect to get for these chips.

They are very easy to fix, would probably require minimum effort...

As far as price reduction goes, chances are you'll receive minimal to none.... buy the vehicle at a fair price to you, fix the chips, ppf, and enjoy

drcolorchip kit should do it if theyre not major chips.. otherwise a hood respray shouldnt cost that much

Only a respray will make it look perfect. But if you're OK with "pretty good", then Automotivetouchup and Dr Colorchip are decent and cheap options.

It should be said, the pretty good is, a very high pretty good :-) You'll be very happy, and won't even think about the chips once you put some miles down - do get a front PPF at min once you do your desired repair on the chips
