Default Amaranth

I love how my Amaranth changes colors at night, now if I can only find a set of twin exhaust tips that are slashed and will bolt up without mods or welding I'll be even happier... Wow, what a car...!

I remember when you had your car paint correction done, and how it transformed your color.

What does "slashed" mean?

You can remove your exhaust tips, and send out for ceramic powder coating. Go look at CCP Coatings web site. They offer 10 different colors. Go look at a recent post I made in the 997 Forum (Polishing Exhaust Tips). You'll see pictures and colors there.

Lex, I don't want the tips to be straight up and down I'd like an angle to them, like these... Mine is Non PSE

I absolutely love amaranth red! If I could have found my car in amaranth, I would have bought it. Instead I had to settle for black. That is the ONLY compromise I made though!

Is it a single pipe going into the tip? Or a dual pipe? 991.2 tips might work if it's a single...

Look at the tips from Soul Performance. They have straight cutt and angled cut. I have the straight but they have the same tip in the "slash cut"

I have the single outlet. Mine is a base model with no PSE so these don't seem to be for me... 2.35 inches across

I have also been searching for a cool replacement for the stock tail pipe tips.

How did you get "PORSCHE" script? I do not see the option? I have a 991.1 C2S with PSE, that may be the issue

I had a 1988 930 Turbo and was very happy with FabSpeed dual outs. I am buying the Soul straight cuts for my 991.1 with PSE after seeing the posts on this thread. I think FabSpeed may be your best bet for your 991.1 non PSE 3.6.
They will transform your car's look.
The polished chrome slant cuts are nice

Do you like these? They're available from Porsche and will work with a 991.2 non-PSE exhaust and I would expect them to work with a 991.1 as well.

Jason

P.S. Please excuse the dirt.
