991.2 Service / Shop Manual
Does anyone know where one can purchase a repair manual for the 991.2?
I see Porsche has a webpage for a membership but it appears to be restricted to authorized dealers and shops only. Is this the case? Thanks |
From what I have read...it is subscription only. No shop manual as we are used to. There is a pdf floating around that is screen captures of the online resource...not really what I was interested in.

Anyone can sign up for PIWIS TSI, which is probably the subscription service you're talking about. It's like $15 for an hour, which should be enough to download the required sections. Still pretty expensive but I don't believe there's a 991.2 manual floating around yet.

I, too, am pining for a workshop manual and think it's a shame that you can't buy one from Porsche.
When I owned my Corvette I purchased a four volume set that covered all aspects of repair, which proved an invaluable tool over the nearly ten years of ownership. |

thanks! Is there a separate version of these manuals for the 991.2 GTS and 991.2 GT3 variants of the 911? Thanks. |

I have a .pdf of the 991 Service Manager, which I got from here; however, I am not able to attach it here - too big?
|
Quite possible - a good work around is uploading the document to your google drive or dropbox account, and then publishing a link respectively.

I don't have a clue how to do that or I would, but if someone wants it just PM me your email address and I will send it to you, like I did for someone already.
