Default 991.1 C2 on Base 19" Wheels

I am close to purchasing a CPO 2013 991.

It's a fair price and decent spec except it's on the base 19" wheels.

What are your opinions on these? Do they seem a bit wimpy for a 911? I'm on the fence about these.

Thank you.

Some would say the 19's are the better handling better riding wheels. I personally like the look but taste vary. If it's a good deal I would not let the wheels hold you up. One just must have a 911. Lots of aftermarket upgrades. Many here that can help you with the core specs of this car you are looking at.

^Exactly. You got the spec you like? Then Effing Jump On It! I don’t want to read your next post crying you hesitated.

Wheels are no reason to take a pass.

If it’s the right car then pull the trigger. Wheels are simple to change on any car. And this way you’ll have an extra set.

I like my 19 inch wheels, both for looks and for a bit more tire compliance on real roads.

If you worry about wimpy image, then change them.

Thanks for the advice guys, and also sorry certainly not my intention to offend anyone. I’m going to go ahead with this car if it drives well and is in good condition. It’s going to be a daily driver for me so once I’ve used up the tires I’ll make the 19’s my winter setup and buy some 20’s for the rest of the year.

It’s a reasonably nicely equipped 2013 C2 CPO for $52k plus shipping, a good deal I think.

What is the mileage on this vehicle, if you don't mind me asking.

The base 19s that come on the Carrera. The dealer powder coated them black for some reason.

Look nice, not gonna lie. But I got tired of the triple black.

The standard 19" wheels are very attractive and more suitable to areas with rough roads. I would have absolutely selected my car had it come with the 19s. Go for it, and risk comments of wearing "comfortable shoes".
