What do you need to clean off them? Pics? It matters what caused the stain and the sooner it gets cleaned the better.

They look like slight grease stains from fast food.

No experience with sportex, specifically, but on other cloth seats I've had good luck with the upholstery attachment of carpet cleaner. Think wet vac. Spray lightly with warm water cleaning solution and the hand attachment sucks the water out while protecting the fabric.

Good advice. Only had the Sportex seats for a couple of days and with it's porous nature I can see it's picking up stuff. Planning on a toothbrush and a mild soap solution to loosen things up.

I wouldn't recommend a toothbrush as you could rough up the cloth fibers when wet. Unless you have very soft bristles and are VERY gentle.

For stains, try Folex spot remover. Pick it up from Home Depot. Use that and a microfiber cloth, and follow the directions. We've used it on anything from chocolate and coffee stains on fabric car seats to blood stains on cream-colored area rug.

Reviving this old thread as I got a water stain on my sport tex seats from a leaking water bottle. Is Folex still the preferred remedy? I tried to blot the water right after the leak, but it didn’t help.

This has happened multiple times with my Sport-Tex and using Folex cleaned it up every time.

The Folex worked! It’s much better. I’ll give it one more pass and I think it should be good to go. Thanks for this recommendation.

For those that are curious, I first tried a “little green” bissell vacuum cleaner that I have for carpet stains, first with just hot water, then with the soap it comes with, and that did nothing. So, I wouldn’t bother with that.
