...having some fun with a MEME. perhaps good for another few months.
The .2 cars have such a great spot under the wing for this. I had MAGA for a bit on mine but the .1 cars don't have as good of a surface area. That is funny (and sad at the same time) by the way.
I like them on the White car more than the Black....one can still get those decals if they want to duplicate them.
and on a new one, Porsche now offers any livery stripes for $4500 (!). Not cheap, compared to some aftermarket stripes
i too, prefer the Martini livery stripes on the White, but can imagine them looking good on one of the Red or Silver/Gray or certain Blue 911s.
Thanks. No, I had Sandy, my decal maker from Etsy, make them based on the emblems, which I sent her to help. If you look closely at the top of each emblem letter you see the top surface tapers down so that made it difficult. If you get the Chinese knock-off emblems there is no taper and the top is the same size as the bottom.
I installed the last Miami Blue decals today, around the light switch & ignition. I know I have said it before but there is nothing else that I want to do!
I finally wrapped the door trim (silver strip that goes around the speaker, etc.) and since that made the door sill oval stand out I had to wrap those as well; Sandy made me the PORSCHE decals. I think that I have finally reached the end of the road though as far as mods go...luckily my wife is getting a new vehicle in a few months!
Heading to Roebling Road tomorrow for the PCA Citrus Region DE, I had to pick a car number. Surprisingly, 911 was not taken. So I used some stickers a Race Graphic Shop gave me. Might not work at some other DEs I might run, but I can temporarily cover them up when needed at another event.
I have a couple sets of these, one with the same spacing as the letters on the car but since they were made out of wrap I put on the set with closer spacing to see if they adhere well. I HATE left lane losers and I thought about having "STAY RIGHT" decals but went with what I have. If these don't adhere well I may have Sandy make me a set using high quality Yellow vinyl, which will match my soon to be installed PCCBs, with possibly a Yellow Porsche Crest in the middle.
Most people are like Children. You can get them to do anything as long as the message is right
"Slower traffic keep right" would work better
we are surrounded y people who hate to be wrong and will continue their ignorant behavior just because they were made to feel lesser/stupid/uninformed.. I mean we live in a society where having a higher education and quoting facts is confused elitist behavior
better to soften the blow and say please and thank you.. the sheep like that method,
