Just curious how did you guys deal with the new temporary license plate requirements. Did your dealer forced you to drill holes in the front bumper?

No, no holes drilled.

My dealer had a plastic baggie that looked like a shipping pouch for the paper front plate that had an adhesive strip on it to stick to the bumper. The finance guy insisted that I had to have it on the car before I left, but I told my sales guy that there was no way I was putting that on the car and he just handed it to me to put in the glove box.

Got the real plates like 2 weeks later and put on the rear only, as I always do.

No holes drilled. My front temporary license plate was zip-tied to the front bumper and I immediately removed when I got home.

My dealer let me off lot without it mounted. I promised to say they put it on but I took it off.

Worse case bring double stick tape and tape plate on.

I talked with my dealer about it well before delivery. He put the plate on with a mount attached to the front tow point. I took it off and re-attached the plastic cover when I got home.

No. I told them do not put on the front license plate and they said no problem.

Ordered my Turbo S from a new SoCal Porsche dealer. Before delivery they asked me if I wanted the front plate. I told them no thanks. No issue whatsoever, they didn’t install it.

Carlsen had a plastic bag with adhesive strips. Drive off the lot, park, remove plastic bag front plate, continue on your way.

That's where I got mine, but other than the finance guy that did my title paperwork, they didn't care if I didn't have it on. So I told them leave it off and I put it in my glove box.

I picked up my Panamera in January right after the new law went into effect. I think they were getting used to it along with the new temp plates process

I have a GTS which has the sport design front fascia. So it was tied to the bar across the opening in front of one of the radiators.
