Default Rear speaker grill creak

I've got a creak which I think is due to my rear driver passenger grill. Have had the car in 5 times to fix. Finally, the tech took off the rear panel and reinstalled the speaker grill and it went away. It's back and now I cringe at every bump. When I press the grill it has squeaking sound. No real way to stick anything in to stop it, other than duct tape which I think will be a disaster. No squeak on the passenger speaker grill when I press it. Anyone dealt with this before?

You can try putting a tiny piece of tape on the tabs so when seated you do not have plastic on plastic.

Use a trim removal tool ($10 a set on Amazon - every owner needs one!) and gently get under a corner and turn it and the clips should release. At least I am pretty sure that is how those come off since the front side ones need the door removed. Search this forum first and Google rear speaker removal to be sure.

Let us know what you find on how to remove the speaker cover. I have the same issue on the rear passenger side. When I push the area next to the speaker, it stops squeaking. I couldn't find any information on whether the speaker cover pops out individually or whether the entire panel would need to be removed.
