Default Entry and Drive locking question

I just got a 2015 Cab C4S,

When I picked up the car from the dealer I was able to exit and lock the car using the button on the driver door handle, I then personalized the settings on the keys and now I can't lock the car using the button on the driver handle, but the button on the passenger handle works and locks the car.

What did I do wrong and how can reverse that change so I can lock the car from the driver handle?

Thanks

I don't think there is a connection between the two. The personalized settings for the keys do not (as far as I understand) have anything to do with Porsche Entry & Drive settings.

Correct, one should be able to lock and unlock either door with either key in your pocket or hand. Does it not unlock the driver's door with either key?

The button can break, it did on my '13, they had to replace the whole handle, covered under CPO/

Both keys lock/unlock the car using the fob.
Both handles open the car.
Passenger side button handle locks the car.

So the only problem, is that I cannot lock the car using the driver side button on the handle.

Problem with the button? You may need a trip to the dealer.

Slightly off topic but I recently picked up a 2014 C4S with Entry and Drive and I can’t for the life of me open the Frunk by waving my hand over the crest.

Is there a specific spot or motion you’re supposed to use?

Yes. It's high on the front bumper, to the left of the center line where the crest is. No need to touch it. 1/4 to 1/2" above the bumper there will open it, if you have the key fob on you. I clip mine to my side belt loop with a small Nite-Ize S-clip.

Dealer determined it was the handle and ordered a replacement part.

Just wanting to get an idea- how much did it cost to replace?

it might just be the battery. door handle lock was finicky recently and all it took was a fresh battery to get everything working fine again.
