Bump!

Updated first thread with event info.

Supercar Saturdays on June 1st has been canceled due to venue tenant issues. Not sure of the exact situation, other than a tenant is rescinding SCS access to the lot for the meet. Sucks, but it is what it is.


La Briole Pasteries and Porsche's is still on for July.

I'll try and set something up for June. A coffee day, ice cream run, or something...

That is really sad 😥 Exactly what happened to SuperCar Saturday when the Gordon Biersch restaurant at the Promenade in Bolingbrook changed hands. And a lot of us liked to go to that restaurant for lunch after the SuperCar Saturday show.
It sucks...

This didn't really surprise me. Streets Of Woodfield is just not BIG enough to host a busy SCS event. I'd bet the tenant dispute was with Lego-Land. Or Dick's Sporting Goods. I see them as very unwilling to give up parking spaces for those early morning shoppers (Dick's) and birthday party events hosted at Lego-Land.

Agree with Dicks and/or Lego Land being the party poopers.

Streets of Woodfield's is smaller than Arboretum, but I feel it's location is nice. Right off 290. The Starbuck's crew in the morning is nice. Wide open lots. Ice cream....

Sigh. Guess I'll find something to do this weekend.

I liked the location near ikea. Perhaps we can start our own rennlist gtg in the area.

For those who made to RADE, holla as well. Friday was not as fun, sat/Sunday excellent weather.

Bump!!!

Been a busy couple of weeks. Looks like the trend will continue for me, however I wanted to get this back in the spot light.

Thinking a Starbucks meet at The Glen later this month. Probably a Sunday morning ordeal.

If anybody's got any suggestions, please post!

Drivers Ed/Track evening at Autobahn Country in Joliet - July 12th.

Ya, and Westmont Porsche has their first cars & coffee in several years Sat June 22 at 9. The last one the had a bad incident when a muscle car did a burnout leaving and spun into a neighboring business.

Iron Gate Motor Condos has their Intl car show Sun June 23 at 10. Ya'll should arrive a little early Sun to get a decent parking spot at Iron Gate. It will fill up, and then you'll have to park on the nearby gravel parking lot.

Oops. I corrected that to Sat June 22 for the Westmont cars & coffee at 9:00, and Sunday June 23 for the Iron Gate Motor Condos International Auto show at 10:00

Oops again on Laps on their date: Autobahn DE event. Their website lists it as Sunday June 23, but when you click on "more..." it switches to Monday June 24. I think you are right that it is Monday, but they could confuse people. Can ivisit as your guest Monday?
