I wish I could take responsibility but this was not a DIY. My friends at musicarNW made this for me and installed it (for a fee of course) while they had the front bumper off to install the ALP laser counter measures. But essentially they attach 3 magnets to the OEM front plate bracket lined with felt to prevent scratches and with the plate held in place they put the magnets on the inside and mark where they attach. Then it is a matter of attaching them to the inside of the bumper and reinstalling the bumper. I am sure a spirited RENNlister could DIY this. I mainly use it to avoid meter maids from parking tickets for no front plate. It saved me yesterday which is why I thought to share it.

I have seen several other front plate solutions and never really liked the compromise in looks.

There are a few threads on here where this was done. Great solution if you don’t want to drill even one hole in your bumper, hidden or not.
