Default 991.2 - Black PSE Exhaust Tips Cleaning

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum and, coincidentally, new to Porsche. Recently purchased a CPO 2017 991.2 C4S and couldn't love it more. I'm a very detailing-oriented guy. Curious what the best way to clean these exhaust tips is, so as to not scour the finish.

Thanks!

Wax them and use a microfiber with some windex, non-ammonia of course. I had my ceramic coated when the paint was done and every few drives just wipe them off...treat them like you would treat the paint on your car.

Thanks! Will try some of the high-temp wheel wax I have. Good call on that.

I use P21S Polishing Soap. It cleans chrome tips without marring/scratching and is very easy to apply and remove.

I have used P21S Polishing Soap on my other vehicles that had chrome tips, but I have the black stainless tips on the 911. I think this product would scour..

The manufacturer claims the product is non abrasive, but I understand your concern.

I use the same Windex window spray that clean my wheels beautifully.
