my 991.1s and wife's Cayman R are outside cars ( car port or out in the sun, rain and elements ) they don't melt though from the elements. God forbid if they did as I would have a lengthy talk with Porsche AG if that ever happened

IF I did have the chance to have the PCars sleep in an elemental sealed, temperature controlled garage that would be a dream but alas, living in SF BayArea where the cost of homes is astronomically stupid, not all can afford that luxury. But when I get out of Cali, that will change =)

Lets turn this into a depreciation thread now since your car clearly had a salvage title from that.

Loving the humor on this thread...at least, I think it's humor. ;-)

God blessed,

My car lives outside. I live inside. Seems like a good arrangement to me. Used all year round. About 15k miles per year. Above pic is of the car on winter wheels/tyres.

The Florida sun and salt can play havoc.

All my vehicles are garaged, regardless of value.

My garage is for storing junk. Mine is outside experiencing the gentle New York weather.

It's even beautiful in the snow, Wing Commander! A lot more folks keeping their 911s outside than I was thinking before this thread.

God bless,
TT

My 991.1 lived outside in PA for 3 1/2 years, including 4 winters. No noticeable effect on trade-in value when I traded it in on my 991.2. The 991.2 lives outside as well.
