my 991.1s and wife's Cayman R are outside cars ( car port or out in the sun, rain and elements ) they don't melt though from the elements. God forbid if they did as I would have a lengthy talk with Porsche AG if that ever happened
IF I did have the chance to have the PCars sleep in an elemental sealed, temperature controlled garage that would be a dream but alas, living in SF BayArea where the cost of homes is astronomically stupid, not all can afford that luxury. But when I get out of Cali, that will change =)

My car lives outside. I live inside. Seems like a good arrangement to me. Used all year round. About 15k miles per year. Above pic is of the car on winter wheels/tyres.

Just lost my underground parking so its outside until I find somewhere that I can get in and out of 12 months. Friends garage most of this winter. SNOW and ICE MELTING FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 991.1 lived outside in PA for 3 1/2 years, including 4 winters. No noticeable effect on trade-in value when I traded it in on my 991.2. The 991.2 lives outside as well.
