991S widebody wheels vs. narrow body wheels
First post, first Porsche! After searching for over a year, I am finally having my first p-car (2013 991S) delivered next week! It is miraculously spec'd 98% of the way I want, with the exception of the Carrera Classic wheels. I'd really like a set of the normal Carrera S wheels (the split 5 spoke I guess you would describe them as?)
Anyway, I found a set on eBay that were from a 4s. I researched the sizes and the front offsets are the same between 2s and 4s but the rear offset is 52 for the 4s and 70 for the 2s. Researching the numbers was the easy part, finding out if they rub or don't fit at all is the hard part. Which is why I am reaching out to you experts! So, will I have any issues running these wheels on my narrow body or does that 18mm make all the difference in the world??

Rear offset is different because the 4 is wider than the 2, but I think the wheel hub is actually in the same place for both, so the 4's offset must be different so the wheel will still be flush with the fender (i.e. push the outside of the wheel further out).
You could use the wheels you linked to, but you'd need spacers to make the rears look right. I don't think it is advisable to use spacers as big as you would need.
You've got wheels coming with the car, why not wait until the right set comes along?
There's also a set of proper 4S Carrera S wheels for sale in the marketplace here. But they have winter tires on them. Maybe you get them and swap rims around so you have 20"ers for the both halves of the year?!
EDIT: Forgive me. I mixed up which car you had with which wheels you were looking at. I don't think C4 wheels will fit properly on a C2 car... For exactly the same reason as I mentioned above, but opposite!

Well, damn. That's the second or third set I've found from a 4s but haven't found any from a 2s. Like you said, I will just have to wait it out if those don't fit.

It ebbs and flows. There'll be a 2S set at some point. I've actually been looking for a 4S set exactly like the ones out there now. But now that they're there, I've decided to keep the wheels I have. I can't justify the cost! I'm also not quite comfortable changing the spec of the car away from what came from the factory.

Thanks, this site is a great reference. But that's just simple math... I know the 4s wheels will be pushed out 18mm from where the 2s wheels would be (because 70-52)...
The bigger question is if anyone has actually done this or if I have 18mm to spare on the narrow body. But I guess I'll just have to measure when the car arrives and see if there's enough space!

Don’t blame you, never cared for the ‘classics’ either. I have a set of Carrera S wheels (with offset of ‘70’)I will likely list in a week or so, in excellent condition. Will PM you. -Dom

you are going to poke out more. Not an issue but might toss more dirt on the car.
I put narrow body body on my 4S. They sit in a little deeeper. No spacers. It a winter set and I would like less thrown on car. Because the wheels are a little wider it’s of by 7mm.
some people like poked out wheels to look more aggressive.
Assuming the car car has not been lowered poking out 18 will not affect anything.
