Bumper scrape protection
Any one here make their own scrape protection for the bottom of their front bumper?? I don't want to pay "Scrape Armor" $450.00 for their's. I think it would be pretty easy ( while the bumper is off) to screw something on underneath the bumper??? Any ideas???

When I had my 911.1 with aerocup kit I thought about using teflon strips or a sheet and cutting it to my design. It could be attached by 3M or other fastener. At the end of the day I bought a spare spoiler at Suncoast on sale.

Just put a few layers of 3M PPF on the front edge and bottom where it is not visible. After it gets torn up, just remove and replace periodically. You can buy it in bulk for cheap on line. If you want to go really bargain basement, a few layers of duck tape (or is it duct?) will do the trick as well.

That's what I resigned myself to do. And the expectation that I will at least lightly scrape on anything that presents a challenging change in slope (including my own driveway where it meets the street).

FWIW I recently scraped that protection plate on a very low parking lot bumper, and was surprised that the warning sensor didn't detect anything (2017 Carrera S). The plate did its job, but it seems the sensor could do better.

But just cautious of a company with no phone and address, just imagine trying to reach them if there is an issue or item doesn't show up in time. They also don't respond to any comments on facebook or instagram. Saw another person asking about his order after payment on facebook and he never got a response from them. but they are regular in posting pictures on instagram and facebook.

I am actually the person that purchased the splitter from BOB Z.
I just installed it on my Carmine red GTS. It is a great design and well built. All the OEM mounting holes are used . I would recommend it .
