Need to better describe the feeling.

There are no quirks with the Porsche AWD system and I came from a number of years of Audi ownership.

Don't worry about it my 997.1 C4s does it sometimes also .....Most awd cars will do this to some extent some more than others depending on the Temperature & surface underneath the tires such a dirt debris , wet etc. Totally Normal ...

If you're speaking of a "skipping" feeling or noise it is normal, and is the same with rear-wheel drive units. Give it a whirl when the tires are nice and warm and it shouldn't do it, or do it less.

Its the Ackermann effect and is totally normal. Worse when cold... feels like the front diff is locked, but it isnt. Imperfect steering geometry.

I get my fat foot stuck behind the brake pedal sometimes. Not under the heating vent.

Most likely the Ack or Acorn effect that others have alluded to above, but just curious : when you say "slow tight turns" are you referring to maneuvering like in parking lots, driveways, etc.? Or at normal driving speeds? If the former, you have the answer in that the front tires will stutter across the surface due to the geometry forces involved and tire compounds, temperatures, etc. But if you are describing a wiggle in the handling when getting on the throttle after a tight turn that you drove-into, then it might be the drive train characteristics. I've experienced same from my (previous) C4S and figured it was likely due to the Front / Rear power bias changing as acceleration (and possibly loss of rear grip) was detected, with stability control and all that nanny-stuff kicking-in. The C4/4S cars only put power up to the front drive-train in certain situations, and is not full-time AWD at all. I had an experience right after getting my 4S years ago where I turned tight right-hand onto an incline and left-hand curving road with lots of loose gravel near the center. As I turned and accelerated I hit the loose gravel, the rear just for a moment started to slip-out before the power shot to the front and yanked me straight.... Was noticeable but I felt the car was rock-solid whereas in an older 911 I would probably have just found my *** facing the wrong-way..... LOL

This pretty much happens every time I back out from the garage and then turn to go out the driveway, even when it's warm.

Just a trait of the car, mine is a 991.2 C4S.

Yes. I like having my heel at the base of the gas pedal and with dress shoes, I snag as I shift over to the brake.

Yep, mainly dress shoes and I don't have big feet (11.5). First world problems huh. I think I may do a little dremel work this spring as this is my daily.
