Default Parking lol

There was another thread on this sort of thing, which our search feature here refuses to give up to me, but that got a bit personal if I remember, internet huh!

A young lady was waiting for me to get back to my car, because she didn't know how to get out of the parking spot she drove into, without hitting me.
I moved her car and I recommended more practice, away from me.

Thank goodness she waited. That looks like a bad situation. Funny when everyone is alright and nothing is damaged.

Cool of her to wait. My "young lady" (Wifey!) often calls me to do the same thing... Makes me feel useful.

Thank you for helping her! I hope someone like you offers to do the same for my recently licensed daughter who also hasn't yet mastered how to navigate tight parking situations. You did us all a good turn!

I wonder how long she waited

She did the right thing - appreciated other peoples' property and played it safe rather than risking damage and then running

Her parents taught her right and should be proud

I was parked for 30 mins, my instinct of WTF gave way to parental help (after checking for damage!)
The US driving test (if not changed in the last 20yrs) is pretty much giddyup and whoa as i remember. No maneuvering.

Scoring the other driver:
+ 10 points for waiting for you.
- 100 points for operating a large, potentially lethal machine in public without the necessary skills.

You'd undoubtedly park like that too trying to drive, text, do the makeup and keep the kids under control.

She must have had a PhD. After years of flight training, all I can say is I am glad none of them made it to the airlines. lol
