They did their measurements and test fitting and all went well as far as that goes! I believe you will be able to get some products very soon! Maybe next week if I understand correctly. I got side tracked about asking to take photos of their test fittings as another issue unrelated to them arose. I had ordered the Race Technology RE10 pads that ended up being the wrong size. Race Technologies had the wrong part number for GTS. It was kinda a bummer because now my car is sitting on stands for a couple more days in my garage. Not to bash Race Technologies because they air shipped the right part from CA to TN which would be super expensive, for me, and that is commendable. However, I now see why AP Racing specifically fits and measures everything on each cars before releasing products on assumptions. This makes a huge difference verse getting products that are assumed to fit and do not. I guess today I was a test dummy for 2 different companies, hopefully this helps other GTS owners with either company. I am sure Jeff will post their findings and day that you can order their product soon. I will be waiting until I run out this new set of brake pads and then I know I will purchase 4 discs from them.
Thanks so much for graciously allowing us to measure your car. We really appreciate that, and the kind words! We'll get you your discs asap. Thanks for your patience and generosity.

Would these be a suitable replacement for those of us who don't track our cars? I'm really intrigued by the long-term cost savings vs. OEM by virtue of just replacing the iron discs down the road.

All of our products are sold for off-road use only, which is the same for all aftermarket providers if you read the fine print. Any two-piece disc with an aluminum hat is going to have potential corrosion issues if they are run on roads with winter salt/brine. The salt gets wedged between the aluminum hat and the iron disc, and over a long period of time eventually eats away at the aluminum. That's why many manufacturers use a dual-cast disc like the OEM Porsche unit.
In terms of being 'livable', there's nothing inherently different about our discs than OEM. They don't rattle, make noise, or do anything else odd or problematic. Typical pads can be run on them, etc. In other words, if you swapped our discs onto someone's daily driver and didn't tell them, they likely wouldn't know that anything had changed.
We have also confirmed that the complete front and rear brake kits above will also fit the 991.1 GTS.
Next up we'll be verifying fitment on a 991.2 Carrera T. We're 99% sure our discs and complete kits will bolt right onto those, but we'll need a billet spacer for the two-piece disc kit since the OEM discs on the T are a bit smaller. Thanks again for your patience and stay tuned.
Our Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Lines will fit ALL 991.1 and 991.2 Trim levels and options:
Bumping back up, will these fit a 991.1S with steel brakes? If so, can you please PM me pricing and weights for the rotors front and rear? Thanks!
I cant recall if the kit is exactly same from .1 to .2 but yes they have a setup that fits. Call them up they are great company to work with and you wont be disappointed!
Here are some pics of a recent installation of AP Racing J-hook 2-piece rotors and Ferodo DS1.11 pads on a 2019 GT3RS to replace the OEM steel rotors and OEM pads. TPC Racing is no stranger to these great products, we've installed quite a few sets on 991's, GT3's, RS's, GT4's, and Turbo's ever since they became available a few years back. They have always deliver on braking performance and durability.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Tom...We appreciate the kind words!
We had a 991.2 Carrera T in last week to verify fitment. We have determined that our current front and rear AP Racing Competition Kits are a perfect fit, as are our 2-piece discs that work with the OEM calipers:
Here are our 2-piece J Hook discs with the OEM caliper.
New Road Brake Kits
A few months ago Essex became the exclusive North American distributor for all AP Racing products, including the line of calipers they consider their 'road' calipers. These calipers have a painted finish in red, black, or silver, and have dust boots for 4 season driving. We have designed a system that will allow 911 owners without a GT car to have a brake system more similar to the one found on the GT3/RS. Our system features an AP Racing Radi-CAL six piston front and four piston rear, mated to 380mm discs on both ends of the car (just like a GT3). They do a far better job of filling the wheels, and are befitting of a car like this. They will be completely civil on the street (no rattles, noise, etc.), but also capable of occasional track duty as well due to a huge increase in thermal capacity vs. the rather small OEM components. These kits are heading into production now and will be available about six weeks. We'll post more details soon! We're still working on the web pages for these kits, but click here to see the front kit we're releasing for the Supra next week. Our front kit for the 911 will be very similar.
Not terribly pretty, and you need to remove it from the car to change pads!
Much, much prettier, and pads can be changed by simply removing the two bridge bolts.
