Lord Acton-
Your Targa is sublime. Love the green and all the leather exclusives. I don't typically go in for all that but your car is simply one of the best I have seen- EVER!

The rain or snow most of the time should slide off. Driving in Germany @175 kph helped with that but at a slower pace and the wrong volume of rain, the wiper was a good thing to have.

Many thanks for the complements. The concept of the car was a unique, discrete, daily driver. A special nod here goes Evio whose car we carefully studied. The challenge with LTS is the base porsche plastic parts all are black in LTS cars. Thus, the problem is to fill all the black voids which requires a lot of CXX work. Fortunately, Sascha at Beverly Hills Porsche has deep relationships with Porsche Exclusive and we were able to do a number of first or near first build features. It was also helpful that Porsche Exclusive was excited to do the Ascot Brown from CGT with Irish Green. It added 6 months for Porsche to resource and qualify the Ascot since they never made very much of it. For the CXX work we had both a build sheet for the commonly requested items and an excel spreadsheet for the more unique features which we would iterate back-and-forth with Porsche Exclusive to track the pending and approved items. Some of the more unique items of the car were:
1. Deviated LTS for the targa frame;
2. The deviated LTS, color blocked steering wheel inspired again from the CGT with an irish green sport dial;
3. LTS on the front transmission tunnel
4. The window triangle with the LCA signals in LTS
5. LTS in the space between the of the dash and the door
6. LTS in the space around the door handles
7. Black leather lining the targa roof and b pillar to match the steering wheel, instruments, vents, fuse box covers
This was both a fun and maddening experience but we are pleased at the results

Enjoy it in good health! And thank you for sharing...
I would like to also thank all of the members whom I have learned so much from while reading your posts... as I have visited rennlist for years now but only today signed up for an account and this is my first message. I hope to be able to contribute to the forum.
I am in a very similar process as I believe you, Lord Acton and others, went through as I am currently going back and forth with Exclusive on several approved and or pending CXXs... (working with mentioned excel file as well between PCNA & PAG...my Exclusive rep is not Sascha however) Now I believe we may have very similar CXX codes* on our excel files, therefore would you be whiling to interface with me?
FYI my car will not be here until year end, here are some of my codes. *(318, 319, 912, 914, 691, 132, 83, 794, 171, 757, 767, 416...)
I hope I am not breaking any rules with my post. Appreciated,
P Fan

Superdog, sorry for temporarily diverting/stealing your tread...I hope you do not mind it, as your idea for this thread is definitely appreciated. Great looking Targas in here...
Lord Acton, thank you, now I am not 100% sure if your response was intended to me or to "evio" whom I believe reached out to you on this thread earlier on.
(Edited)
As a new user I did not have access to private messaging... but today that feature is available so I just PMed you my info, please choose whatever works best for you ok; please feel free to email, text or call me, and thank you for your willingness to chat offline, it is very appreciated and this will definitely be helpful to my ordering process...
As wisely written, this experience seams to be "fun and maddening" and puts many of us at a temporary maddening/insanity stage about our future to be cars...
Thanks, P fan
