Thanks for the reply.

As the kit is still in development, we have not 100% confirmed all details including mounting or cost. All Vorsteiner aero products are offered in a glossy carbon fiber finish, you would have the option to paint the item after receiving the product. We do not offer any in-house paint services.

As mentioned, we will be sure to contact you with additional information once it becomes available.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Yours Sincerely,

Adrian Perez

All

I received an email from Adrian at Vorsteiner today... Essentially interest has been noted and further emails in support of the program are not needed, I think the message “we want the 991.2 aerokit released” has been received.

I also asked if they could become active on the thread, I will update once I get a response.

I am definitely more hopeful this will happen, thanks to everyone who emailed

It seems there should be a Group Buy offered, which would give initial buyers a price break for a period of time and would also be great advertising for them since owners around the country (and world) would be showing the non-web owners a new product. I have contacted them with the suggestion and will report back so please do not ask them the same question.

A group buy would be nice. However the product must first exist. This has been in development for almost 2years. I emailed Vorsteiner (as did others), you would think the interest would be good publicity. The last exchange I had with Vorsteiner was to the effect that emails of support will not expedite development.

I suggest that we wait the allotted development time and then reach out for a timeline update. If it’s still 90days out then it may never materialize. I hope that’s not the case as I want this rear deck lid big time! If it does materialize then I’m all in for getting a group buy together.

Stay tuned

We all know it does not exist and there is no harm is trying to set up a Group Buy for the reasons I stated, in advance. I have done this in the past with several suppliers for numerous models/makes and the vast majority of those that I contacted were glad to help. WIth that said, I will let everyone know what the response is when the time comes. I did find out that they do offer a 10% off Military Discount.

If you have read the thread then you will know that Vorsteiner claimed that we were 90days from release a couple of months ago. However I wasn’t convinced as they announced the program more than a year ago. I have been pinging Adrian and today I got a reply.

Email is pasted below. The gist is that you should buy a Tesla if you want a Vorsteiner Aero! This really sucks as I really wanted a carbon fiber rear deck lid
——————

As of today, current Vorsteiner aero production is geared and focused on the Tesla, Performante, and Urus kits.

We do not have a confirmed ETA regarding the release and availability of the 991.2 aero program.

You can be sure we will release an update publicly once the kit nears a solid completion or offering date.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

Yours Sincerely,

Adrian Perez
