Superficial but I detest the yellow-colored calipers so steels were the only option for me, short of paying someone (on top of the $9K) to repaint the PCCBs.
How long will the PCCBs last if you never track the car and you drive non aggressively on city streets? Might be worth the price if you dont have to worry about changing rotors and pads so often.

What you described, I'd say it'd be possible to go over 100K or so. Maybe more.
i've tracked a total of about 15 track days over the past year and half of ownership of my.2 4 GTS with PCCB. Changed pads once. the car squeaks only on the first couple days after a hard track day as the pads settle back in, and afterwards it no squeak and perfect. unless it rained and I have to wash my car, I just have a two car dusters, one dedicated to the car and one for the wheels. just a little dusting and the wheels are always clean.
Non-PCCB owner here...what do the track guys do after a few thousand track miles? Swap for steel? Put on new PCCB discs? The front replacement discs are $11,500 on Suncoast..rears are $10,500.
Seems like an expensive proposition to avoid brake dust.
I'll go out on a limb and say that the ArmorAll Outlast I buy for $9 a can is just as effective as having PCCB, or if not, it's a world of difference from before I started using it. I can easily go a month without washing my rims.

This stuff is legit amazing.
I washed my car last Saturday. On the driver side wheels I applied a paint sealant. On the passenger side wheels I applied Outlast.
Five days of driving later the driver side wheels are covered in brake dust. The passenger side? Legitimately look like they were just washed. Even when I run my finger over it I only get the slightest hint of dust on my finger. So little that you can't even tell where I swiped the wheel. I ordered two more cans and will coat the heck out of my new wheels when they arrive. As I wash my cars I'm going to pull all the wheels and coat them with Outlast.
No idea if it makes any difference, but after coating my wheels with Outlast I let them sit overnight. I think the instructions say 1 hour, but I like to err on the side of caution.
