Trading a gt4 for a 911t-help me decide
Hi team, sadly I am trading in my Gt4 with everything but lwbs(it’s Carmine, has Pccbs, full leather, lots of ppf, 8600 miles, etc) for a 911t. The only reason is because we just had another daughter and I really want to be able to take them out on rides as a family with the wife. Gt4=2 seats...so I end up driving it by myself as the wife is usually home with the kids...bought it about a year ago with plans to track it...but it hasn’t seen the track yet. My main criteria is it has to be Manual. I have narrowed the field down to 3 options below-help me decide based on what you guys would recommend. Thanks in advance!!!

Option 1:
I am getting this one for $7500 plus my gt4 as trade. Pros-it has RWS, partial ppf and is CPO. Cons-higher mileage, white (prefer something not so common), no tinted tails

Option 2:
I am getting this one for $10,500 plus my gt4.
Pros: Very low miles, PDLS, tinted tails, nice options
Cons: More money out of pocket, not cpo (in service date 10/18), no rws, PDLS is in silver rather than black-really bugs me for some reason) and no ppf

Option 3:
This one is going to run me closer to $14k plus my gt4.
Pros-has RWS and LWB (I would add the rear seats afterwards), tinted tails, low mileage
Cons: Would have to add rear seats, is white, no cpo, considerably more expensive, no ppf

My other option is to sell my gt4 privately and buy something else outright. I would loose the tax benefits and to make it worthwhile I would need to get at least 93/94k out of mine to consider it. Thought about this-and even had someone come take a look but honestly it’s more of a hassle than it’s worth (have to deal with tire kickers, ppi’s, etc. and honestly don’t have the time with a newborn, toddler and wife healing from a c section.)

You should hold on Option 1 - because I've been debating on that one myself Seriously, if the weather were better I'd make the drive up there and check it out for you.
Of the 3 you've listed, I'd pick #1. Option 3 will cost you more to retrofit the rear seat - which is why you're trading your GT4 in the first place.

Thanks-the rws is that big of a difference huh? I appreciate the offer to check it out, really nice gesture. With it being cpo I’m not too worried-actually buying whichever one sight unseen as I am out of south Florida. Part of the deal is that shipping of both my car and the new car is included in the pricing.

Haven't driven one w/ it, to be honest, but I like the idea of a tighter turning radius. Cars in my price range at the moment are C2 models. Getting RAS would be icing on the cake, as you can't spec a C2 base with it. Also - for me - black is a deal breaker. I'd take any other color over a black car.

If you want four seats you're better off getting a .2 S with SPASM and RAS

Cool thanks. The car in question was listed here before the owner traded/sold it
to the dealer-always good to know it came from a rennlister @RJD
If you have anything to add about the car please do!

Without it, 911s are not that flash when pushed - keep in mind the T is not a GT car - the GT4 is. RAS is about the slip angle during high speed cornering - massive difference. The GT4 is lighter, has better brakes, is NA........both have two seats

Don't fall for the marketing, like all Carreras they are fantastic - its how you option them that counts.
