2012 991.1 w/ 21k miles - is 60k mi svc needed?

On my '95 993 I had the fan belt fail after 3K miles, and 7 years. No serious damage (thankfully) - but it did take out the fan when a bit of worn belt wedged between the blades and the casing.
What's worse is:
Bent 3 valves in my '90 Acura legend after the timing belt failed at 11000 miles and 7 years (7 not my lucky number) - that was costly for a grad student to deal with :-) I should have learned my lesson.
So yeah, change those belts on time !
