Unhappy PCM 3.1 GPS Issue

Hi Everybody,

I'm having troubles with the navigation, it shows my current location shifted for about 300 miles. There is bit of history. I upgraded the PCM 3.1 with CarPlay. Cannot confirm for sure that this happened right after the retrofit, but it might be the case. Reconnected all the plugs behind the unit, but still see the same issue. Contacted manufacturer and they confirm that the unit is not related to the GPS logic.

Have few questions here.
1. How to see the status and list/number of GPS satellites?
2. Which connector behind the PCM is connected to the antenna?

Would appreciate any help with this.

Thanks,
Ruben

If you go to the "location info" tab under the Nav options it should tell you how many satellites are seen by the PCM. The blue connector at the back of the PCM is for the Nav antenna. I've seen either faulty GPS antennas or PCM units cause this concern.

Great, thanks.

Turns out to be slightly loose connector.
