Same here. Been with them for 20 years and they've been great, particularly on claims. Quick response, solid payouts.

That said, GEICO has become almost Wells Fargo like in terms of their shady upsell nonsense. They've repeatedly added things that I never agreed to our policy (roadside assistance, etc.), that I only caught when I happened to go through my policy to reassign mileage limits. The second time it happened, I went ballistic on them and almost left, but decided to give them a third strike. If you ever make a change to your policy with them, you have to listen really carefully to the new sales pitch and make sure you tell them not to add anything to the policy except the specific insurance coverage you want.

😝 no free, or cheap lunch.

But before passing judgement, any GEICO policy holder ever made a repair claim on his/her Porsche ?

When I moved back to Mass. last summer Geico's quote on my 13 991 and 15 Allroad was -- seriously -- one third the cost of what Liberty Mutual quoted for identical coverage -- and that was with me already having two cars, umbrella, flood and home insurance with Liberty Mutual for a "discount." Guess who I went with?

Like i posted previously i have only had positive experiences with Geico on over a 20+ year relationship.
Did anyone really think for the relatively low cost of the MBI that Geico was going to pay out on a PDK or engine replacement and not hit you with a annual surcharge? Really?
