Default Oil analyze at 10k miles or more?

Anyone here done this at "high" mileage? Would be interesting to know what condition it is after reaching the recommended mileage for motor oil change, according to the manual.
I have seen quite a few at 1, 2 and 3k miles, they all seem to be okay (naturally).

Did Blackstone oil analysis at every oil change on my 996 due to the IMS bearing issue. Blackstone reports were always thorough, informative and useful in making sure the bearing was not deteriorating. Also cut open the oil filter element to look for debris. When I moved up to a 991.1, did an analysis at my first oil change (40,000 miles....major service) and received an excellent report. Will use that as a baseline for future reports every 10-15,000 miles, as this engine shouldn't have the issues the 996 did. Keeping track of your reports will also help you at resale time as part of your record keeping. Well worth the $25/report.

I've posted over 10 UOAs on my car here. Search, and you'll see 'em. I do mine at about 5-6,000 miles. On my old 987S I did a few at 7,500 miles. I've never pushed to 10K.

Thanks Lex. Looking ok as expected for that milage. But what I really want to know is how the values are if you change the oil when Porsche says it's due. (10k miles/one year)

If you really-really want to see some of these values, research UOAs on the website www.bobisthoilguy.com. But it's hard to find many Porsche drivers that go that many miles on the oil AND DO UOA TESTS. Heck, most Porsche owners barely drive 'em.

That's true. Looks like Porsche drivers either are too concerned about oil change, or they don't give a damn. Btw, looks like that Bob guy is not the oil guy anymore?
