Default Need help identifying a part

I just had some Xpel applied to the front of my car and when I popped the hood after getting it from the shop I found this piece loose near the cowl area. It looks like a plug of some sort, no apparent part number, made of polypropylene, I believe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is the plastic plug that is just beneath the hood badge. If you open the hood, look up directly beneath the where the hood badge is mounted, you will see the hole it left. If doing expel or other wrapping on hood, and removing P-badge, this plug has to be removed to access the screws holding the hood badge in place. Probably whoever removed the badge didn't put back in properly or securely. Just pops-out but note it is stiff plastic so breakable if forced the wrong way. Snaps right back in.

Check out my (very old and very crappy!) video about removing the hood badge on my C4S long time ago for reference....

Not a big deal but if it were me I would bring it to their attention; mine was put back after a recent PPF installation.
