Excellent write up, SS. I agree on a lot of your points since taking delivery of mine five days ago. Still getting the feel for her and I will be able to give my subjective thoughts on opinions to what is already turning out to be an amazing car.

I specced a performance-focused "no frou-frou" Carrera T, so only ticked three cost options -- PCCBs and RAS are two of them. After having PCCBs on my TTS and GT3, can't go back.

Good info on the new T. You spec’d the car just as I am considering. The 7mt does concern me as it seems others have similar issues with it ? As a previous poster stated, you will get used to it. I tend to agree, but if one drives multiple cars, it is sometimes hard for my brain to retrain itself from old habits.
To all the Austin folks folloqing this thread,, we should have a little cars and ooffe of our own at the north end of Lime Creek Road at the Shell station. Lets make it happen .

I haven't had a single issue with the 7MT. I don't understand how you can. The 7th gear is just added on (where some cars have the reverse). I don't find the gears to be too close to each other either. I've had manuals all my life (only one auto), and I find this one to be one of the easiest to shift.

Great write up, S.S.

I’m now just over 11,000 miles into my T ownership and absolutely loving it!

Now fully run in and fully used to the slick manual transmission after two years driving PDKs.

If I had my time again, I might add RAS and PCCBs. Oh, and possibly keep the lightweight rear glass...

Awesome car!

Say it aint so, adding the T or moving on from the GT3?! In any case, I can find arguments in favor of that move having both a C4 and GT3 that I switch between. Really like the T and how it seems to be made for worry free driving with some fun bits (not value/ADM/CXX/PTS/depreciation/flip etc)

Nice write-up, thanks. Like others said I believe you will get used to 7MT quickly and will love it like I did when I had it in my GTS.
As for RAS I was hesitant, but once I got it now I only can say it make the car different in a good way. PCCBs are also very nice and I love mine.
