Default Losing Oil at Drain Plug

I own a 2017 Carrera and have been doing my own oil changes now and have noticed a very small of oil after the car is parked. After researching I ordered these oil drain plugs off of amazon.
Amazon Amazon

Any thoughts to why oil would be coming from these plugs?

Exactly the same thing happened to me with those drain plugs. Has anyone had luck with them?

I’m of the opinion that the plug doesn’t need to be replaced with every change. The o-ring inspected at every change and the plug replaced every 4-5 changes. I understand replacing crush washers every time, but there’s very little torque on the o-ring.

Bummer. I bought mine in July and all of the negative reviews came in after that.

Must be a way to make 991s leak like vintage 911s.

I'm scratching my head on this one: The OEM plug is less than $7.
Part number 958.103.801.00. https://www.gaudinporscheparts.com/o...ug-95810380100

Why try to outthink the Porsche engineers' recommendations for $7?!

It should come with the filter when you buy it. I get my filter from local dealer for like $35 and it comes with gaskets and new drain plug.

No one is trying to outthink Porsche but rather find a simple oil drain plug since it seems to be a simple part. Trying to make yourself sound so intelligent saying such a thing is very arrogant and uncalled for. Thank you for the oem part number and I did go ahead and order from your link.
Good day sir

You're right, I could have stated the OEM plug advice more politely. I'm sorry about that!

I'm glad you found the link helpful. I hope it resolves the leak for you.
