Default Buzzing after engine shut down on new 2019 Carrera T

Just picked up my new 911 today. When I parked in the garage and shut down the engine I can hear a buzzing sound coming from the engine bay, under the spoiler. It lasts about 1-2 minutes and then clicks off. Is this normal behavior or something to be concerned about? Thanks.

Normal. All kinds of blips, buzzes and chirps.

Is it a high pitched whine? Maybe a two-tone type whine? Around the upper right area over the engine cover? When I shut off mine (even on for as little as 30 seconds) it will whine for 40-60 seconds or so. If it has been driving hard it lasts maybe 90 seconds. I had it for 6 weeks before it started. Not loud but noticeable.

Mine is in the shop now for a coolant leak...AGAIN!! My high pitched tone started 7 weeks ago and was not identified last month when it was in the shop. I was going to post a separate thread once it gets resolved. The SA said it is probably something in the AC system.

Isn't that the electric water pump cooling the turbos down a little?

OK. Just took the car for a long 45 minute drive. Parked in the garage and shot this video right after shutting down the engine. Turn up the speakers and you’ll hear a clip of the buzzing sound coming from right under the engine bay lid.

I am hoping this is normal but surprised that no one else has posted about this noise here on Renlist.

That is exactly like mine. As I mentioned above it just started weeks ago. I’ll let you know the specifics when I pick it up from service.

Could it be the engine bay fans still running? The fans on my 991.1 c2 stay on occasionally after I shut it off if I’ve been driving hard.

Same exact noise for me. If I turn the key on and off again it stops. Checked with the dealership and it's perfectly normal.

Same here, intermittently. Good to hear that it’s normal.

Thanks for all the feedback. This makes me feel much better. It’s not the fans. I shut down one time and left the engine lid open. Heard the buzz but the fans were not spinning.
