Hello,
Im looking at a few different 991.1's, it seems that for a base car its pretty difficult to find one with PSE. I am really mechanically inclined so adding one on, is not an issue at all to me. I've seen the kit is ilke 2500 + 500$ for the vacuum line kit to install it into a non S 991. What I've also learned through searching on eBay is I can get a used muffler for about 5-700$. The question is, is the 991 S and Non S the same muffler center section? I noticed there is a Targa exhaust on ebay, but that looks very different from everything else I am seeing, is that the case? Does anyone that has done this, have any insight into the 500$ extra vacuum line cost, or know what that kit explicitly includes? I dont mind tracking down pieces to save the money either. Best I can tell, Ill save about 2000$ piecing it together.

Perfect thats exactly what I was looking for. Do you have any idea what goes into the 500$ fitting kit for a non PSE car?

It has a list of all of the parts needed on page 2 (although I don't know which of those are in this kit you are mentioning). You may already have some of them.

You might also want to check with adcampo on his PSE thread going on right now... he has fresh experience.
