Hello everyone, recently acquired a 991.1 CS that has damage to the trim around the shifter. I've ordered the trim (991-553-245-02-DRZ), does anyone know how this is removed? I imagine the PDK **** has to be removed too?

Depends on what specifically it is that you call the "trim around the shifter"...but this found with a quick Google search may be helpful. Fast forward to about 1:50 into the video. I think I would have put the camera down and done it with two hands....but hey...that's just me. ;-)

 

Thanks guys (or gals)! Seems the procedure is simple enough:
1. Remove PDK **** (rotate lower collar and pull outwards)
2. Remove main console trim (pry starting towards the rear of the vehicle)
3. Remove PDK surround trim (pry upwards)

Still wonder how PO managed to damage this...
