Catback will do nothing. Sport headers, tune and BMC filters are your only options for power. Catback will just add sound.

I have a .1 GTS also and was looking at adding the fabspeed sports header. I love the original sound but want it to be louder. Does this header change the overall sound much or stay true to Porsche? Been watching you tube a lot but most of them don't have great sound recording mic.

Panzer, a set of our street headers (see below) are definitely a strong consideration to meet your goals. The sound increase is going to come from our less dense 200cell HJS HD cat cores. Our longer, more efficient primary tubing/merge collector will make a subtle change to the tone for a smoother exhaust note with a bit higher pitch as you crest into the top end of the rpm range under full throttle. It a very nice compliment to what you currently have. Let's chat about it a bit more in depth so you can make an educated decision, my cell is 484 883 6197 give me a ring any time.

I am talking to one shop that is suggesting an AWE Cat back exhaust, BMC Air filter along with a Cobb ECU and PDK tune. Has anyone done these mods? Is the performance noticeably increased?

Is it worth the expense to upgrade a 15 GTS, some say the GTS is optimized by Porsche and there is very little gain to be had by aftermarket work.
Our 991.1 Long Tube Street Header development is completed. We are also just a few days away from the release of our newly developed valved exhaust system for the 991.1 platform. Photos are below of our Sport Headers and a teaser photo/video of the upcoming valved exhaust release. We will be making a release thread shortly so keep your eyes out for it.

The Valved Exhaust System has no effect on any emissions control devices and would pass an emissions test. The Street Headers use HJS 200 cell cats and will pass the sniff test, however no aftermarket we’re aware of will pass the CARB visual inspection that requires the CARB certification only present on factory cats. Knowing someone that doesn’t look for that, or willing to do a header swap every couple years is you’re only way through. That said, new cars do have a grace period in CA of 6 years if I recall correctly.

I am terribly sorry but the PSE on my GTS is objectionable to my neighbors. I do not like offending them any more than the mere fact I own a new Porsche that competes with their pickup trucks and thus offends them. I would prefer their understanding but it is like speaking to the choir. .Sometime, we all need quiet Porsches so our neighbors do not think we are showing off. I am doing it and shortly putting our glorious house for sale so I can live somewhere that my neighbors do not object of me.

Champion advised me on 991.2 GTS Targa I can get a tune from Geiac ( wrong spelling)which would give 100 HP. Also looked at the Soul cat by pass pipes.
http://soulpp.com/product/porsche-99...-bypass-pipes/
Which would be another 20hp. So this is definitely a huge differences s frankly a different car at that point. I mean a GT3 RS has 520 HP. This would have 570 not bad.
