2013 911 Carrera S - I just walked from this deal.
I'm fairly confident that I made the right decision today, but I wouldn't mind a second opinion.
I found a newly traded in (hours ago) 2013 Carrera S that had the colors and options that I'm looking for.
2013 Carrera S
Agate Gray
46,000 miles
PDK
CPO
SC
PSE
Full leather (Agate/pebble)
Heated/ventilated seats
Classic Wheels
Nav
Sunroof
Bose
2 owners - first was 30 month lease, 2nd was CPO
Carfax shows 1 accident (owner hit road gator and damaged front bumper and possibly some other area (TBD) no obvious repair
Dealer asking $71,000
The car is very clean and has the colors and options I want but, (1) CarFax accident, (2) High mileage (lots of low mileage cars out there for sale), (3) price (I offered $65k, but not sure I even want it for that price)
Thoughts?

Ive been looking for a 2013 991 for the last 3 months... I wouldn't even consider this one. Good job walking away. if this was a PDK, its way over priced, if it was manual, its still over priced with miles that high and an accident on the car fax.

7,700/year is considered "high mileage"? I don't agree.
The CarFax is understandable, if true, and verified. That wouldn't stop me from buying the car.
Don't know what it's worth. For the right price, it should sell.

right move
I would walk away from a top dollar vehicle with a carfax ding. For a 2 owner pdk with over 30k miles they were asking all the money and then some. Private party probably 64-66k but this may be offset by taxes. I just dont buy wrecked cars.

Finding two tone leather isn’t easy. The agate pebble looks great and maybe be the nicest combo IMHO.
The car will sell quickly. I’d pass given the car fax.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm sure it will sell quickly, too - most likely for what I offered. The bottom line is that it just wasn't the right car for me - not because of colors and options - but because of the accident (no matter how minor) and the mileage (just more miles than I want). When I buy a car or a house, I'm always thinking about resale and I know that if I have reservations, the next buyer will too.
So, I'm back on the hunt for a 991.1 and just posted a WTB in the marketplace.

The good news for you is you're looking at the right time of year, new models coming out and the weather going away helps in a couple ways, I've bought my last 3 cars October - March.
If you know what you want and have done some research, just be ready to pull the trigger on a days notice. Maybe you even have two or three different versions of what you'd like to own and it makes finding one easier. I've been lucky to buy the last 3 withing 150 miles of home and I'd actually like to buy one further away next time just for the drive back!

Not full leather, but much lower mileage and great options. GT Silver is rare, and I love the wheels.
