Default Houston PPI for 991.1

Posted this in OT but thought I'd cross post it here as well.

Found a 991.1S in the Houston area with little to no, actually no, service records or history for that matter. Car is at a non Porsche dealer. No CPO of course. Carfax shows minor damage.

Would like a PPI, of course, also concerned about water damage.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Southwest Houston BTW.

Thanks.

Jamie

Drivers Source on Memorial Drive near Dairy Ashford is one of the best in town, if not the best. Last I checked shop rate was $100/hr which is damn good. Steve the GM knows what he is doing.

Where are you buying it from?

I agree, Steve is the best, he has done work for me on the GT3 and my new T (new brake upgrades). Also does the best alignment . Drivers Source is far from SW Houston so the seller may not want to drive it there. Also, there was a lawsuit in Houston where a provider of a PPI lost on a claim against a Lambo buyer, cost them $35k. So many dont do them anymore or if they do, you wont get a written report and invoice may say oil change service and they will do an oil change as part of the informal PPi. You will get an oral PPI report

on SW side, Eurocar-Werks or Motorwerks Auto could be alternatives
