Default Buying 911 turbo wheels for 991.2 - fitment

I have a 2017 991.2 C2 and looking to replace my Carrera S wheels with oem 20” 911 turbo wheels. Going to the dealship is mad expensive (7K+). I’ve found a few on eBay for 991.1s, but it seems the offset is significantly different. Can anyone confirm the fitment for the 991.2 C2? Can I make the 991.1 911 turbo wheel fit? Does anyone have suggestions on where to find these wheels for a reasonable price? Any one have a set of these for sale? I’d love something lightly used to keep the price within reasonThanks gang!

991.2 fitment is on the porsche sit, you can compare it to.the wheels you want
there is a calculator on 1010 tires site that will tell you how they would fit

Here is the size according to the site:
8.5 x 20 ET 49 with 245/35 ZR 20 tires (front)
11.5 x 20 ET 76 with 305/30 ZR 20 tires (rear)

The wheels I'm looking at are:
FRONT 8.5X20ET 51
REAR 11X20 ET56

Will these fit? Will this effect performance/handling? Do I need spacers? What size? Has anyone done this before?

Any suggestions on websites (other than ebay) that sell used OEM wheels or any users looking to swap for Carrera S wheels would be very much appreciated!

The Turbo is a wide-body and your C2 is not. You can imagine how this will look with your narrower quarter panels. Why not just wait for a C2 set to show up on ebay (or something similar) or go aftermarket?

And remember the Turbo is even wider than a normal wide-body. Given that the stock rears on a 991.2 are almost flushed to the outside of the fender, the turbo wheels you describe will really poke out. It's not as bad as I first expected since the wheel width drops from 11.5" to 11.0", helping by a ¼" on each side.

Here's the results from willtheyfit.com from a comparison with your stock wheels (at 11.5" 76 offset versus 11".0 with 56 offset):

"Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 26.4mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 13.7mm more than before."

You are thinking of the Turbo S wheels (CL). OP is considering Turbo wheels (5L).

To each his own, but I think the CS wheels look way better than the Turbo wheels (and I had the Turbo wheels on my 991 TTS).

To clarify, I'm looking to purchase 911 turbo wheels for my C2. They can be optioned for narrow body cars. So looking for someone that has optioned them and looking to sell or trade. Will def keep a close eye on ebay and on the forums, but if anyone is interested in trading for 20" Carrera S wheels (narrow body) with the measurements above, please hit me up!

Save as above - looking for the 20" 911 turbo wheels for narrow body - not the wide body. Someone would have optioned them for the C2 and looking for takeoffs. I'd be open to something aftermarket that is good quality and almost an exact match. Anyone have other ideas?

Hi! I had a similar situation. Traded my RS Spyder wheels with Classic. After a lot of research , I found that the narrow body C2 and C2S had the same fitment on the
OEM 20' wheels. Even with Rws. On The S. The C2 .1 has slightly different fitment especially on the rear wheels ET56?. So don't think it will work or look good.
My first choice would also be the Turbo wheels , but am really happy with how it turned out . Even though I like the Spyder wheels a lot , I thought it looked too grey on grey.. I placed an ad on my local Porsche forum for a trade . Anyway , good luck!

Using the website http://willtheyfit.com is really the best way to compare the changes from whatever wheels you consider. Just keep in mind that the 991.2 wheels are already nearly flush in the rear, so you don't want much more poke than you have before. You also don't want a wheel that ends up closer to the suspension by more than the tiniest amount, if any.

Here's another sample of their results with a typical 991.1 vs 991.2 wheel... I don't know the specs of the 991.1 Turbo-style narrow-body wheels for sure so please verify yourself. If what I show below is correct, you'd be fine if you don't mind losing a little wheel width. Be sure to look at both wheel width and offset.

I found these wheels and the guy is down to do a swap for my Carrera S wheels. What are my 991.2 Carrera S wheels are worth?

Will these wheels fit? Will I need different tires or will the ones I have fit?

Here is the fitment:

Thanks again everyone!

I just got these installed today, just in time for snow expected tomorrow. Turbo S wheels on Targa is what Porsche recommends for Snow/Winter setup.
Wasn't looking to re invent the wheel, so to speak, so I went with what I Know works. Looks pretty good to me, different from the matte black..
