Hi all,
Im looking at a new, in stock GTS at my dealer. I'm getting 2.5% discount and can't seem to get better than that. Does anyone have any thoughts? Are prices more strictly controlled in Canada? Seems like the US get 5%-8% discount.

Many here in the US get 2-3% and some have bought GTS cars without a discount at all. If the car has been sitting on the lot for a while you may be able to ask for more, or tell the SA to call you if he decides to sell it for less. If it has been sitting a while I suspect you would get a call, unless it sells. So ask yourself if holding out for a little more is worth the chance of someone else buying it.

I agree with Bob. If you like it buy it. . Thats how i bought my C2. A pal ordered a new C4 and got about 1.5% off in Toronto. Not like in the US.

Yeah, discounts are very hard to come by in Canada. Seems like 2-5% is the range.

Discount is fair in Canada.
I wouldn’t overthink it....if you like the car buy it.
A bit more wiggle room if it’s a lot car, but again it comes down to how you weigh a bit extra discount compared to losing the purchase.

Might be enough of a difference in places like BC where they want to avoid the huge luxury car tax at the $125 and $150k thresholds.

I'm also on the hunt for a GTS 4. I'll be buying a new one at Lauzon in Laval. They have a chalk GTS 4 in stock that is just stunning.
