Default 2013 991 Carrera S for sale on BaT

I haven't seen many 991s for sale over there. This one has some interesting aesthetic choices.

Agree it's a bit unusual to see something like this posted on BAT but I suppose if you're willing to pay the fee... It will be interesting to see what a well used, minimally optioned 991.1 will go for over there.

Interesting. We tried to list our C2S there last spring and it was rejected due to being "too mass market" yet it was much more of a performance build than this car! It had every performance option (aside from X51) that was available at the time.

Maybe they are broadening their reach, but possibly diluting their brand of only listing "unique" cars.

Two accidents, a faulty key fob (can't he just replace the battery?), questionable wood interior...sounds pretty "unique" to me!

(That Amaranth Red Metallic color is pretty, though...)

It is unique compared with the flood of BMW E46 M3 cars that they list

Wondering why the person didn't clean up the interior a bit.

Most of the dirt and discoloration can be removed probably with some very simple cleaning techniques.

I like the clean Carfax statement in on paragraph and then goes on to discuss the 2 hits for damage.

So what does "clean" mean now days?

Apparently less than 3 accidents!

How do you get a scrape here down to the metal?

I saw this car for sale somewhere else but passed on it,

How does someone bid on something like this without a ppi

60K miles, last inspection was a year and half and 14K miles ago,

I've never been good at body work, and it could be camera angle but does the gap between the drivers fender and the passenger fender to the lower differ quite a bit

lots of questions as I'm still learning

Interesting to know some people consider two accidents a clean Carfax...

They just opened the door into something that chipped it – doesn't take much. That edge is one of the weakest paint sections on any car. That's why I always opt for the door edge PPF on my cars.

Is that serious wear at 9 o'clock on the steering wheel or dirt. Looks like wear to me. The rest of the dirt can be cleaned up.
