Thanks...I’ve made it a point to try and be accommodating and kind to new members on the watch forum I’ve been a part of for a few years.

Based on the sarcastic ribbing you have received you are probably wondering if coming to RL was a good idea at all. But here is the good news with your purchase. Had you actually bought a 992 you would have received the following responses:

1) Wrong forum, pay attention where you post, idiot.
2) Nice car but not nearly as good as the NA 991.1. Long live NA.
3) Nice car but not nearly as good as the 991.2.. Long live anything but NA
4) My car sounds amazing your car sounds like a blender even though I have not heard it
5) My car sounds like a vacuum but your car sounds like a blender even though I have not heard it
6) My car is a classic only several thousand have been made and it will be worth millions (T drivers) your car is a dime a dozen and will only be worth $2.99 in 10 years

So consider yourself lucky you have a 991.2. There is much sarcasm here but also much knowledge and loads of help when issues arise. Enjoy the car and the forum. Really nice ride.

Here's what you do next, Richris1;

1) pose car in front of house
2) raise the wing
3) get your watch collection in the shot

This would be RL gold. Gold, I tell ya!

Ok....I would ABSOLUTELY do this! I CAN ONLY IMAGINE the reaction I’d get at this point if I did!! it’d be epic I’m sure!

Agree with everyone else, I love that color, it's my personal favorite on a 911. I have the midnight blue on an old 997 and it still looks fantastic on a 991.2. I haven't seen too many 911s with that color.

The great thing about this car color, it that it metamorphoses, from dark blue, to purple, to black. Depends on the ambient light. Tons of metal flakes. Like +3 colors in one.

Yes, very chameleon. I debated for a while between this and the white....I love the white, but it just didn’t fit my style. I really like this with the Luxor beige 👍

OP - You purchased a great car. A car you can drive today. Enjoy it as often as possible.
Wow, you've been around long enough to have 152 posts and this is the worst you've seen? Surprising...

Agreed, this is nothing.

I've been banned permanently from Bimmerfest.

Six times...

RiChris1 -- consider replacing the yellow front turn indicators with the clear version ... I think they look much better and are a popular mod. Easy to make the replacement. Congratulations on a beautiful car ... drive in good health.
