Default Exhaust Options on 991.1 c2

Hi guys,
I’m completely new, as I’m picking up my CPO 2015 911 C2 Saturday.

So, clearly the stock exhaust will not do... the car has no crackle/gurgling sound (M6) when shifting between gears... what options do I have for a valved exhaust cat back system to unleash the nasty beast hidden inside? I’m Canadian and already got a quote for an Armytrix at $7,800 CAD from the Canadian distributor. It’s doable but a little on the pricey side for a noobie like me.

1) what other companies are out there for valved systems.

2) can you indicate approximate price ranges, if you by chance know them off the top of your head (just so I know I’m not getting taken by a shop).

Thanks everyone! Look forward to replies.

I had a 2015 C2 and had an AWE sport exhaust on it. The sound was superb.

Look at the Kline exhausts. IMO the best sounding exhaust for Porsche's. Build quality is 1st class. Choice between stainless and Iconel (lighter).

Maybe you should try some high flow cats first.

I think this option will keep the Porsche tone but tune up the volume more.

Thanks for all the advice, would high flow cats allow the crackles and gurgles? Seriously, forgive me for my ignorance but exactly causes those sounds? How can I get that (in a valved option)

It's called "overrun" and it's caused by unburnt fuel being ignited by the heat of the exhaust. I wish there was a way to get rid of it in Sport Mode. Can't stand the way it makes the car fart.

[size=]Out of all the premium exhaust brands that we carry it's iPE that more often than not gets the nod from customers for the best sounding exhaust. Here's a video of showing off their sound. You will see an "Evolution" & "F1" model shown in the video, they have since discontinued the Evolution because the F1 was the hot seller -

Great video, the F1 is a serious exhaust sound. Are you a Canadian shop? PM me details of a cat back system price, when you get a chance.

I've got some of the same questions for my 2013 991.1 C2. I've been eyeing the Tubi Exhaust, Akrapovic Exhaust, and also potentially just getting the PSE retrofit into the car. Any opinions here? I haven't seen too much said about the Akra and Tubi.

All I know is apparently the Akrapovic exhaust is like over $10k CAD... that’s little much for me. $7,800 CAD for the Armytrix is doable but really, it’s still a price that needs some thought.

IPE F1 sounds great, $6,500 CAD, is getting better. What’s a Tubi or Sharkwerks run?

Can't recommend Soul Performance enough. Sound is incredible and valves closed is basically stock, it's amazing. I posted a video on my instagram, you can check it out @pure745
