Default Tubi vrs oem pe

so I’m thinking about upgrading my base 991.2 pdk without pe and I note Suncoast has Tubi exhaust for 4400 vrs 3800 for oem pe. Couldn’t find comparison in old threads so thought I’d ask.

Comparison Tubi vrs oem pe

obviously no on/off no switches to fail
tubi probably cheaper to install
tubi mild mannered under 3k over great higher pitched sound
tubi not oem does this affect warranty
maybe a few hp more due to less restrictive cats
tubi more unique

your thoughts neubes wanna know

In order to run the PSE you will need to fit the PSE version dual outlet cat. You will also need to switch your rear diffuser insert, run vacuum lines and fit a PSE button (if I am not mistaken).

Can't tell you about a Tubi on a 991.2 but I have one on my 991.1 and its fantastic. So nicely made, just the right balance of sound and yet no boom. When you want it quiet (wife in the car, etc) it's subtle, when you want to GO - its in full song. You can see my install here on this thread if interested:

honestly i listened to the tubi videos on suncoast a few times i couldn't hear a significant difference.

i would look into upgrading the catalysts and headers on the 991.2 cars first, which have PROVEN to make the biggest difference in terms of sound.

You have to be careful with a lot of the exhaust videos online, as usually the manufactures have bundled the exhaust change with sport cats upgrade.
