Default Dealer left a screw on the engine cover after service

Just got my car back after service and found there was a screw and a beige plastic cap on the engine cover (please see pics). I called the dealer right away and they said they have no idea and no need to worry about it. Just threw it away.

Does anyone have any idea where did it come from? Hope nothing is loosen or really no big deal. Thanks

Oil and filter service? If so, not anything involved with that.

Could have come into the engine compartment from the gap between the rear winndow and the service truck hood ( from the road).

That's an interior part - do you have a beige interior?

I seriously doubt it is - discard it - from someone else's beige car.

No biggie, just toss it. There are not screws to be taken out on a oil change.

Don't drive 88 miles per hour. Your flux capacitor is disabled.

That is the retaining clip that holds the satellite radio antenna in from the underside (it threads into the satellite radio antenna housing from below, and that plastic clip housing is what pushes against the body as kind of a large "washer").

Looks upside those openings in your rear deck lid under where the satellite radio antenna is and make sure it's not missing this part (there should be a rounded rectangular hole directly underneath the antenna housing). You basically found it in the exact spot where you'd expect it to land if it had fallen out...

If it did fall out, you may want to dig through your garbage as you can only get that part with an entire antenna assembly for ~$110...

If that turns out to be from your car JJPM please make sure the person at the dealer who told you what they did is aware of this, or send them a link to this thread. And let us know what they say.
