Default Any experience with BBS CH-R?

Hello everyone,

Considering after-market wheels but zero experience. Does anyone have experience with BBS CH-R's? Watch-outs, advice, etc. welcome. Thanks in advance.

Consider their weight:

BBS CH-R 26lbs front 29lbs rear for 20" Porsche fitment

O.Z. Leggera HLT 22lbs front 24lbs rear for 20" Porsche fitment

I had them, BBS CH R, on a previous TT and I loved them and had no issues with them.

Love them. Have them in 19” for the track but they seem heavy. The rear offsets are 56 and are a little bit too aggressive for a narrow body unless the car is lowered (since the wheels have slightly more negative camber).

quality is above reproach like any bbs - i have a set i use as track wheels for 997 gt3, they have been excellent

strong good looking but not the lightest -- yet very reasonably priced for the quality

like they say - light, high quality and inexpensive... u get to pick 2... u just don't get all 3

This. Look for lighter wheels. The HRE Flow Formed FF04 wheel looks terrific in person.

We have much experience with the CH-R's and the BBS brand as a whole. What is your number one focus for your aftermarket wheels? Is it performance, durability, value, styling, or brand prestige & reputation? Depending on what you look for most I can narrow down the choices for you and help you pick the perfect one.

I have had it on my previous Car.

BBS is OK. not worth the price anymore, It used to a THING but now there are too many competitor who offers better looking wheels and unfortunately, it is just one of aftermarket wheel

Unless you really like the look of BBS there aren't any benefit.

I prefer HRE, there aren't much price difference and holds its value better and can be lighter....

hre's are nowadays well respected and they have indeed upped their game in recent year.s.. i even have a set now on one of my nicest cars

that having been said, for those bashing BBS's - i still remember the day not too long ago when HRE's had a catastrophic failure on track which destroyed a very very nice car

otoh, i have never heard of or seen bbs fail that way

BBS and the model you are looking at are great wheels although a little heavy. I would also look at the HRE FF series wheels. Priced the same and very nice. I think they are great looking. Had a set on my previous 4S.
