991.2 GTS Wheels/Tires Value?
#18
To the OP, I've been looking to do this myself. Please see my thread here, https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1073...ts-needed.html
From what Ive found the GT3 front (assuming the track is the same in the GTS) will be less aggressive as the offset is higher. The rears will be more aggressive, but not as aggressive as on a GT3 because it has a wider track.
991.2 GTS:
245/35ZR20 9Jx20 ET51
305/30ZR20 12Jx20 ET63
991.2 GT3:
245/35ZR20 9Jx20 ET55
305/30ZR20 12Jx20 ET47
GTS rear track 60.8"
GT3 rear track 61.2"
As far as value, they should be worth a good amount, I would personally list between 4.5-5k. Do not look at the price of a 991.1 wheel as the basis, there are more available. However, the CL does limit their appeal.
I think the only option is to get a wheel spec'd to your car. I personally can't stand how tame the GTS wheels look, but haven't yet gotten over eating 4k on the set of HRE's I bought for my 991.2 C2S and sold new, unmounted in their original packing for a huge loss.

4-5k
If these were black I would purchase them right now

Completely different from what OP is offering
OP if you want to sell your wheels I would go with $3K if you want to sell quick or $4K if you want to sell slow

I answered his question with "4-5k".
Then I offered help with a link to some nice wheels which is what hes looking for... GT3/GT3 RS.
Take care buddy.

3500 for wheels, tires, and TPMS is pretty cheap. I think the suggestion for 3 to 4k might be for wheels only? You might want to get the wheels you want first and see how the tires would fit before selling the originals. At the end, you might save 1k because you can reuse your TPMS and tires.

Dont sell your wheels for that cheap because I really want to buy them.. dont even need them. Just a parts hoarder.

hmm I wonder how it would look with gt3 up front and rs in the rear?

it would definitely rub. 15/16mm lower offset AND .5 inch wider wheel sitting on a weird 325/30/21. It would poke out and look hot wheels like.
The RS has an even wider body than the GTS and GT3 which helps swallow up that wheel/tire size.
I'm dead set on GT3 or RS wheels. The concaveness along with those blade style spokes is really getting to my head.
