Default and the loner vehicle is.....

a 718 Cayman. The same one in fact from a couple of months ago when I had the driver side door panel replaced.

“We don’t have 911’s for loaners”.

So, I have a Subaru for the day...

Still a nice car with great pickup after the initial lag is in the rear view mirror.

You're lucky enough to get a loaner. My stealership takes 3-4 weeks to have one available.

My dealership sells Porsche and Audi cars, and the loaners are typically Audi A4 or A6 sedans. I’ve had a Cayenne loaner before too.

They tried to give me a base Macan and I said no....nothing against the Macan, in fact I have a Macan S.

The way it used to be is that your loaner was at par with your vehicle. I always had a 997 loaner when mine was in for work.

Now the bottom line is more important than customer satisfaction. When I get the survey I will mention this again.....crickets.

I don’t really care that much as long as the loaner is clean and new. It’s a loaner, I’m not putting my plates on it.

got a Macan Sport w only 170 miles on it. Initially I was very happy to try a different car, but after a few days I was disappointed in the lack of power below 3000rpm. At first I thought maybe im not pressing the accelerator pedal....Couldn't wait to get the 911 back. Heck my e-Golf had better initial acceleration.

In Houston they used rental cars as loaners. They gave me a crown Vic once. People actually slowed down when they saw me in their rear view mirror.

Near Durhole, North Crapolina, the laoners were used cars from their lot. Kinda bizarre.

I typically get a Cayenne (diesel and “regular”) or Panamera, once a Hybrid.

I'm (as John says) in North Crapolina and my dealer sends a loaner, either a Cayenne, Pano, or more often a Macan to my house 80 miles away, picks up one of my Porsches and brings it back the same or next day.

Audi are even moving away from loaners at all, trying to get you to take a Lyft home. Luckily, they will also pay for your ride back. I actually didn't mind this, but would obviously prefer an Audi from Audi or a Porsche from Porsche as a loaner.

Huh? Porsche loaners provide customers the pleasure of seeing, feeling, and enjoying what else Porsche offers. For many dealers repeat or multiple car owners are a big part of their sales.

Macan, Cayenne and Panamara for loaners. I understand why no 911s, I don’t care it’s just for the day to get to/from work.
