I guess the Fidelity does not cover CV joints. I'm checking the Porsche warranty. My service advisor at the Porsche dealership says Fidelity is easier and gives less pushback on claims.
Any opinions?

Fidelity Platinum just paid for leaky RMS and while they were in there replaced IMSB seal.
Porsche Dealer where I bought car and warranty did the work.
Service writer had nothing but good things to say about Fidelity as did the service manager.
Lots of threads about good experience with Fidelity.
Not familiar with P car non CPO extended warranty.

yeah I am going to start looking for an ext warranty that will take a car that's still under CPO warranty. I am mostly concern about big ticket items (mainly the PDK)

I bought a Fidelity/Audi Platinum warranty on a 2007 911 in October 2015. Car was NOT under CPO warranty.

I don't know about that. I would call a couple dealers. Reason I say a couple is one of the dealers I called had zero clue about what could be bought and what could not.

good to know, i dont mind if its not porsche brand warranty (it really doesnt matter because i think even the porsche brand warranty are a 3rd party...correct me if i am wrong)
I've had fidelity and safeguard in the past and they were both great. i have about 1.5 years left on CPO so I have a little bit of time

The Porsche extended warranty is through third-party SafeGuard, you have to read the fine print in Porsche Financial.
After you do that, read the comments about the company throughout the internet.
It isn't encouraging for any of the extended warranty products.

Are the Fidelity warranties actually good? My car is a CPO and I’ve only owned it for a couple of months, but if I keep it past the warranty, I’d like to purchase an extended warranty if there is a good option.
