Need opinions on this 2017 GTS
Need opinions, looking at a CPO listing for a 991.2 2017 GTS in Fresno, CA, Sapphire Metallic Blue with only 3500 miles. They're asking $122k
https://nationalpreownedporsche.com/...tallic+1787357
I inquired about this car thru an auto broker and the dealership said they refused to move on the price, claiming they are already taking a bath on the price as it is, and also it has been sitting on their lot for almost 200 days.
I configured a brand new 2018 with same options and it comes out to about $138k.
I am assuming that mechnically the car should be sound with low miles and Porsche CPO certification. Is that a safe assumption?
Are there any other details I should be probing into, because I am considering putting in an offer but I don't want to miss something obvious to my fellow 991 owners.

beautiful color. Why oh why no centerlocks? FWIW I paid less for almost identical spec but centerlock and 7 speed manual. I am original owner but had a bit more miles.... there should be some wiggle room in that price.

Personally I don't trust dealers. PPI is a well invested capital. Peace of mind at least.
The price seems a bit high, but each market is different. You can always drop the CPO for some extra cash, if you don't intend to keep the car for more than the original warranty.

I actually prefer no centerlocks, gives me way more options for aftermarket wheels (2 second set for the track, etc)

Edkwon CJ the dealership owner is on Rennlist mostly on the 991GT3 forum, he has an awesome reputation so might want to seek him out and talk about the deal.
Defiantly go with NO CENTERLOCKS...they are a royal pain in the azz...if you need to remove a wheel only the friggin dealer can do,it unless you have the special $400 torque wrench and the $180 breaker bar and the Castrol Optimoly grease and someone to sit in the car and press the brake pedal because you can’t torque them on the ground.
My next car I hope is a GT3...1st and only mod will be convert to 5 lug!

Probably a nice GTS, but only ~$17 k in options, no Premium Pkg Plus (no sunroof, no ventilated seats, no entry & drive, no light design pkg) , and no PDCC or RAS would be negatives for me. Its 11% off MSRP, which is not that great. Just the PDCC and RAS options resulted in a 30 second lap improvement on the Nordschleife for the 991.2 GTS (it broke 7:24 - fast!) .
And the Blue painted interior pcs are a bit strong for my taste, altho i love those on a Racing Yellow. It's this a one owner? Has the two year service just been completed along with the CPO? Does it have PPF? Find out the CPO warranty expiration date. A PPI is probably warranted.

I would get the smoking package just because the ashtray comes with a cover which makes the console look cleaner. As for charging your phone, there are USB ports for that.
