Ha. I was coming up just as he and his fabulous pickup were being phased out of reruns. Was too young to understand the show, but it still made an impression on me...to the point I still label certain vehicles Sanford and Son if hoopty enough, just as I call certain Rube-ish apparatuses Rocky and Bullwinkle.
